Successful conclusion of 1st year birthday celebration and 3rd UWKFSA National Individual Championships for all formats

Yesterday the United World Karate Federation South Africa concluded a successful National individual championships for all age groups including veterans in all styles and all fora,to. About 3000 competitors fought their best and performed the best in both kata and kumite. UWKF also celebrated its first year in existence as the UWKF although the organization was created in 1992 towards the uni fixating of karate world wide a very important milestone now to look forward to the international team event in October 2016.

Womens Commission doing great work

Women of UWKF South Africa are doing great work towards the development of women karate-ka in all areas of focus inSouth African karate structures. Monique SIAS a current competitor and South African champion has been elected as Chairperson of theWomens Commission she is young and is dedicated towards developing Women and Children and give back what karate gave her, Monique comes from a karate family her father Dean Siasis the Chairman of the General Karate Referees Commissioning South Africa and mother Monica a very active administrator in the Westren Cape region. We look forward to great things from these women. uWKFurges more women to join its ranks and start taking the destiny of Women’s Karate into their hands. 

Free National Federation membership fees for all

Due the financial crisis experienced by all world-wide today UNited World Karate Federation has decided to suspend its annual membership for all properly constituted National Federations. This will allow the national federation to charge its members a fee and use this reprieve to develop karate in their countries all national federations wishing to join please send your affiliation to the UWKF headquarters.

United World Karate Federation – South Africa get NOC recognitiom

In a historic ruling the South African Sports confederation and Olmpic Committee (SASCOC) has decided to accept the membership of our affiliate in South Africa, this isunpresidented in the history for an NOC to take such a bold decision and we applaud our affiliate for all the work and to SASCOC for being so bold and fair, this augurs well for SASCOC and karate in South Africa as we are ONLY interested in Unity and fair de elopement for all.


We also proud to announce that the United WorldKarate Federation South Africa will be hosting its 3rd United National Karate Championships catering for all karate formats and all styles, on the 21 and 22 April 2016 at the Klipriverberg Recreation Centre, this will the 1st Championships for United Karate since being accepted by SASCOC.

we will also be having a big celebration party to celebrate our 1 year birthday a big birthday cake will be baked for this occasional and all who will be attending will be given a piece of this birthday cake. Come and join us.
